A quick comment:      Back to G-1: Review A-IX    Main Page

This is my first Wheelie action figure.  As a kid, I had always wanted to own one but never really got such luck due to financial problem.  So after two decades later, he is now mine to own.  Anyhow, I bought it on Sept. Iii, Mmv and it cost me $XLIII from Image Anime.

R-0 Original Wheelie's motto and tech specifications:

Affiliate: autobots | Subgroup: none | Function: survivalist | Alt. Mode: mini-car|

| STR 4.75 | INTL 5.5 | SPD 8.25 | ENDN 9 | RNK 5.25 | CRG 8.25 | FRPW 7 | SKL 8 |

Original G1 Wheelie Motto:

"Only the fierce shall live."

Original G1 Wheelie Bio:

Wheelie is the sole survivor from a party of intergalactic colonists who crash-landed on Earth.  He's a barbaric little savage who managed to stay alive by cunning, stealth, and fearlessness.  Speaks in odd rhyming sentences and despises the Decepticons.  Fights only he's under attack and has to defend himself.  Staunch friend to the Dinobots and a reliable ally for Hot Rod and Kup.

NOTE-1: This review page is meant to give you some ideas about the figure should you decide to obtain one, or even just for nostalgic or sentimental purposes.  They're just my opinion and I hold no responsibility for your action.  If you have questions about this review or if there's a section or image that owned by you and I didn't give you credit, please click email from the main page.  I'll make the correction once I receive your info.  Have fun.

R-1 Wheelie in its Original condition:

kuporig.jpg (65380 bytes)1 - Front and back of the box: "Transformers Collection #20 - Kup w/ Targetmaster, and Wheelie."

2 - Here's how it looked once you opened the cover revealing Kup w/ Targetmaster, Wheelie,  and contents.

3 - Contents are sandwiched between two clear plastic tray while the paper works are sealed in a separate bag.

4 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card: "1" pick up car,  "1" Kup regular gun, "1" Kup targetmaster gun, "1" Wheelie car,  "1" Kup sticker sheet, "2" trading cards, "1" instruction sheet, "1" miscellaneous text sheet, "1" world art image featuring Kup/Targetmaster/Wheelie, "2" Kup and Wheelie cover art with toy catalog (feature: Pretender D-201 to D-203, D-301 to D-310), and "3" data files (images of Skywarp, Wheelie, and Kup).

R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:

There are 2 Pre-Applied Stickers that were applied onto Wheelie.  The first pre-applied sticker is the small Autobot logo located just below his car window shield.  The last pre-applied sticker is the Autobot Rubsign which can be found at Wheelie pelvis.

Sticker Sheet:

Wheelie does not come with any sticker sheet.

R-3 Wheelie in Vehicle Mode:

wheelieveh1.jpg (35479 bytes)In vehicle mode, Wheelie is a futuristic mini-car whose measurement is approximately 2 3/4 x 1 1/2 x 1 (LxWxH in inch).  He is most beautiful in vehicle mode as oppose to his robot mode appearance.  The car body is well design and looks very sleek.  For a little guy, his transformation is actually very interesting because it's not a one, two, three transformation like the other Mini-bots.

R-4 Wheelie in Robot Mode:

wheelierob1.jpg (41696 bytes)Surprisingly, Wheelie has one of the better articulation than his other Mini-bots comrades.  He features a movable arm, leg, and even feet.  What's new with this version is that now Wheelie face is being rendered like the cartoon, that is, light gray face with blue eye as oppose to the all orange face in the 1986 release.  This improvement on the face color help a lot in term of contrast between his body color and his face color.  Many transfans hate the Wheelie figure because he has no real head and neck which make him looks like some dork from the hunch back of Notre Dame.
