A quick comment:
Although the Kabaya Ultra Magnus bottle cap was released way back in 2003, it didn't really capture my interest that much and it wasn't available at my local retail. Now that I have become an Ultra Magnus completionist, I find myself hunting for this teeny tiny bottle cap figure. I ended up getting him and Devastator in a two packs deal/ sealed content at Ebay for $XVI.XCV (XII). It arrived to me on Sept. Xi, Mcmxii.

R-1 Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus Bottle Cap in its Original condition:
R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:
Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus does not come with any Pre-applied sticker/ decals adhered to the toy itself like the G1 line. Instead, the entire action figure contain colored mold and some paint applications.
R-3 Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus Bottle Cap - 2 Sides Screen Shot Paper:
In addition to the figure itself, it also comes with a cheapy thin 1 9/16 x 2 1/4 (LxW in inch) 2 sides colored paper featuring 3 Ultra Magnus screen shots from the 1986 G1 cartoon. Front side of the paper, the 1st image can be seen from Season 4 "Rebirth Part1" where Prime explained to Ultra Magnus about the key to the plasma energy chamber while riding the shuttle to meet Kup on Cybertron. Adjacent image is actually from the G1 Season 3 Ultra Magnus bumper which was introduced in certain episode before and returning from commercial break. The back of the card image is from the episode "Called of the Primitives" in which Ultra Magnus said "bingo!" after he shot down one of the Sweeps.
R-4 Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus Bottle Cap - PVC Robot Mode:
Following the successful foot step of Takara: Generation One SCF (Super Collection Figures) PVC which was released between 2000 and 2003 with a total of 10 ACTs/ Series, Kabaya put out their bottle cap version in September 2003 after Takara cancelled out their line. The 1st wave of Kabaya bottle cap consisted of 12 monochrome figures and 2 color chase figures (C-1 Prime w/ gun, C-2 Prime no gun, C-3 Jazz, C-4 Bumbble bee, C-5 Grimlock, C-6 Rodimus, C-7 Ultra Magnus, D-1 Megatron, D-2 Starscream, D-3 Soundwave, D-4 Devastator, D-5 Galvatron, Chase color figure of Prime and Megatron). This review will be concentrated on C-7 Ultra Magnus. Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus figure is made out a soft PVC and his colors consist of white, light gray, and dark gray. I believe the white and dark gray color are painted while the light gray in place of the blue of Ultra Magnus is only a colored mold. Quality and paint application is slightly below average as some parts are scuffed off/ peeled off. The face and head is also on sub-par, see R-0, in both paint and head sculpt. On the positive aspect, Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus bottle cap does have some fine detailing throughout. Standing about 1 3/4" in height, expect the figure to be very light. Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus bottle cap action figure is meant for display only, he feature no articulation.
R-5 Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus Bottle Cap - The Base/Cap:
The black base or cap is approximately 1 5/16" in diameter and 6/16" high. It's material just like figure itself is also plastic and hollow from the underside. On top of the base there are one thin peg, one fatter peg, and a small engraved Autobot insignia. To make the base less generic, the character name is also printed in white at the front side of the base so no base switching between character. Now place Ultra Magnus PVC figure with its feet plugging into the appropriate peg to complete the display, center image.
The 2003 Kabaya figures most of the time are known as the bottle cap. I don't know if it has to do with the black base which resemble a bottle cap for putting on top of some particular bottles e.g. Japanese bottle or is meant for something else. I said something else because the Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus bottle cap innerside does not have that typical curve grooves/ ridges that are presented in the normal bottle cap for anchoring or mounting on to the bottle itself from sliding off. When tested on the U.S.A Poland Spring water bottle 500ml or 16.9 FL OZ, it didn't work because the Kabaya cap was larger than the bottle opening. A second attempt was to put on top over the existing Poland Spring bottle cap, it looks good (right image) but still slightly loose.
R-7 Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus Bottle Cap - Scale Comparisons:
So how big is Kabaya G1 Ultra Magnus bottle cap when compare to other figures? Here is a scale comparison picture of him standing next to some other similar design scheme, the Takara: Generation One SCF PVC line. Left to right, the diaclone version (SCF Act 4), the regular version (Heroes of Cybertron line or SCF Act 1), clear version (SCF Act 1), and the pewster version (SCF Act 4).

Special Notes: Here are "2" special notes that I think you should know:
1 - Kabaya bottle cap comes with a black base cap with his name printed at the front. Make sure yours come with one.
2 - On top of the black base cap, if you look carefully, the two pegs do not have the same size. The larger peg should be plugged into left foot of Ultra Magnus.
Overall Grade: [C] - Teeny tiny action figure with a so and so quality. Not recommended for casual fans unless you're a die hard Ultra Magnus fan who want to own every collectable item of him.
