Cartoon First Appearance: N/A

Toy Catalog Number: X The Transformers Series 1

A quick comment:

It was kind of a bummer as there was no new Ultra Magnus figure mentioned in the NYC 2014 Toy Fair.  Fortunately within the same day, The Loyal Subjects Los Angeles came to the rescue when they attended Toy Tokyo store and their Loyal Subjects Magnus was released in there as well.  I got him on Feb. Xvi, Mmxiv and cost me $XIV.XCIX (XVI.XX) from Toy Tokyo.

magnusloyalsubjectsorig2.jpg (138674 bytes)R-1B: 1 - Once the outer box/card is removed, the figure and its contents can be fully seen rest down on a clear plastic tray.

2 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card:  "1" Magnus, and "1" black gun

R-2 Pre-Applied Decals/ Stickers:

Loyal Subjects Magnus does not come with any Pre-applied sticker/ decals adhered to the toy itself like the G1 line.  Instead, the entire action figure contain colored mold, some paint applications, and tampograph.

R-3 The Loyal Subjects Magnus - Robot Mode:

magnusloyalsubjectrob1.jpg (204180 bytes)magnusloyalsubjectsrob1b.jpg (221233 bytes)R-3A: The Loyal Subjects Magnus is a 3 inch articulated vinyl figure produced by The Loyal Subject Los Angeles in conjunction with Hasbro.  It was first sold as an Exclusive at the NYC Toy Tokyo store on Feb. 15, 2014 and later mass release on Feb.22 from the Loyal Subjects online website.  The figure itself does not transform but primary depends on its simple form and cute SD/ Super Deformed looks to sell.  Loyal Subject Magnus is of course a redeo of Loyal Subject Optimus Prime mold.  Surprisingly, it sure took long for the Loyal Subject Los Angeles to do Magnus as other redecos came before him especially the 8 inch figure, R-3B will go in detail.  Loyal Subjects Magnus is predominately white with painted yellow eyes, gray mouth plate, blue window shield, teal forehead crest, teal hand, and a little bit of gray and black.  He also has a red Autobot insiginia tampograph on either side shoulder.  Although Loyal Subject Magnus looks different and unique in a way, I would probably prefer the original G1 Magnus color schemes with its red eyes, blue mouth plate, blue forehead, and all white e.g. my photoshop picture at the far right thumbnail.

magnusloyalsubjectscomp1.jpg (184520 bytes)R-3B: As alluded in the previous paragraph, The 3" figure Loyal Subjects Optimus Prime was released in wave 1, in a blinded box, along with Bumblebee, Jazz, Grimlock, Megatron, Starscream, Soundwave, Thundercracker, and chase redecos.  A much, much, larger, 8 inch figure of Optimus Prime vinyl was also available in both color and an all white DIY (Do it yourself) in a window box.  Other 8 inch special redeco released are: Nemesis Prime (Dec. 2013, 500 QTY), Dead Prime (2013 SDCC Exclusive, 300 QTY), Bullet Hole (2013 Bait Exclusive, 200 QTY).  For 2014, the 3 inch figures wave 2 include Optimus Prime (again, but w/ energon ax), Grimlock (w/ sword), Snarl, Slug, Mirage, Prowl, Sideswipe, Bluestreak, Shockwave, Dirge, Thrust, Shrapnel, Skywarp.

R-4 The Loyal Subjects Magnus Articulation showing off:
