A quick comment:     Back to Review A-IV     Back to Ultra Magnus Homepage

I discovered Tech Deck Manga Ultra Magnus by accident not sure whether it was from Ebay or one of the Transformer forums.  Surprisingly, there were many others Transformers that was part of the Tech Deck Dude line up.  I got it for $X ($XV) from Ebay and arrived to me Nov. V, Mmxi.

R-2 Tech Deck Dude "Clash Cubes" - The Instruction Sheet and Cards:

manga14orig3.jpg (258632 bytes)manga14orig3b.jpg (222964 bytes)Once the seal bag is opened up, you'll find an instruction sheet and 3 cards inside.  The instruction sheet features a check list for all the characters of the Tech Deck Dude on one side and the other side explain rule and regulation on how to play the game.  For the 3 individual cards, every card is glossy and has image at the front and back.  The points are shown at the front side and the word Wipe Out is written in the back.  In addition, there are also perforated or precut mark for you to pop out each image, right image.  After removing all the precut images out from their card, you would have to assemble them to form a cube with a measurement approximately 1 11/16 (in inch) to resemble a playing dice or in this case the clash cube.

R-2 Tech Deck Dude "Clash Cubes" Manga:

mangarob1.jpg (81748 bytes)Manga, the robot dude with skateboard takes the homage form of the Transformers G1 Ultra Magnus in the 2006 Tech Deck Dude line up .  Most recognizable characteristic of the G1 Ultra Magnus occurs at the head, the large ear antenna, blue eye, and the color schemes of red, white, and blue.  Manga wears blue helmet, blue eye and partial on the chest, red body the thigh, arm with blue and white color scheme, while the feet has all 3 colors.  At his back, he has a silver or grayish back pack not sure if it meant to be a rocket pack or what.  Manga stands about 2 inch tall and is a soft PVC especially at the ear antenna.  Its main attraction in this 2006 Tech Deck Dude line up, is that the soft PVC arms are now bendable and stay bend.  There is no peg or joint connection in the shoulder/ arm like most standard action figure, instead the full arm is one piece.

Some other lucky Transformers who appear in the Tech Deck Dude world included:

Minga = as G1 Optimus Prime, Rodimus Prime

Manga - As G1 Devastator and G1 Ultra Magnus

Mort - As G1 Megatron

R-3 Tech Deck Dude "Clash Cubes" Manga w/ Skateboard:

mangarob2.jpg (88557 bytes)mangarob3.jpg (62022 bytes)Manga accessory is a yellow plastic skateboard with a large black sticker that nearly covers the entire top of the skateboard.  On the center, there is a printed text, "Tech Deck".  From the underside, the skateboard is predominately yellow with the plastic wheel being white and the joint connection being gray.  It's full dimension is approximately 2 1/2 x 14/16 x 6/16 (LxWxH in inch).  The real cool feature is that Manga and the skateboard are magnetized to each other.  If you are purchasing as loose figure, double check Manga underside feet and make sure there are 2 circular magnetic plate.  The skateboard should have a metal plate underneath the black sticker, so the only way to test it is to place Manga feet on top of the skateboard and see if it magnetizes.  If you get tired of placing Manga on the skateboard, you can place him on any metal horizontal or vertical surface like you refrigerator, or metal closet, and he'll magnetize to it, right image.

1. The underside of both Manga feet have a circular magnetic plate, make sure yours come with one.

2. Check the skateboard and make sure that both Manga figure and the skateboard is magnetized to each other.  If not, the metal plate below the black sticker of the skateboard are either missing or the magnetic circular plate underneath Manga feet are missing.

Overall Grade: [C] - Unless you are an Ultra Magnus fan or Tech Dude fan, then it's not some thing you want to add to your collection if you are a transformer fan.
