A quick comment:   Back to Misc: Review M-II      Main Page

I have always had a soft spot for either Superman or Supergirl.  There's something about the Supes family or maybe their something about their power with the ability to fly or xray vision or bullet proof that are just so intriguing.  And as a result, these two characters are one of my favorite characters of all time.  I got Supergirl action figure at Mid Town Comic on Jul. Ix, Mmv and it cost me $XIV.XCIX

Back of Card description:

Supergirl sacrificed her life in an all-out assault on the Anti-Monitor's realm so the Multiverse could survive.

R-1 Supergirl in its Original condition:

supergirlorig.jpg (59917 bytes)1 - Here's Supergirl looks in its original card.

2 - Back of the card

3 - Here's how it looks once the card was removed.

4 - These are all the contents that were included in the box/ package/ card: "1" Supergirl action figure, and "1" Crisis On Infinite Earths stand base.

R-2 Supergirl Action Figure:

supergirlfig1.jpg (43792 bytes)I thought Direct DC did a better job on Supergirl sculpture than the previous Wonderwoman.  The proportion and the appearance is well define and very balance.  My only two minor complaint is the back hair is too fluffy or just too thick.  The second one is the poor paint quality control issue which is a little bit sloppy.  But other than, Supergirl action figure is definitely beautiful.  Supergirl mini red dress is made of the out of the same soft flexible plastic just like her cape.

R-3 Supergirl On The Crisis On Infinite Earths Stand Base:

supergirlfig2.jpg (44865 bytes)The first image emphasized what Supergirl can do with her articulation.  Next to that is Supergirl standing on the Infinite Crisis On Earths base.  The stand base is about 5 1/4 X 1 1/2  in inches with texts on a transparent base. Moreover, there is a little peg that stick out that connect onto Supergirl right foot for stability.

Toy Stamp/ Fine Print Location: - Can be found underside of Supergirl left feet.

Paint Quality: [-C] - Just a little bit under par so make sure you check Supergirl thoroughly before purchasing.  The paint application control issue is so disappointed with some are good while most are bad.

Material Durability: [+A] - Very durable.

Toy Materials: Die Cast Metal:  N/A .  Chrome Metal: N/A  Rubber: N/A  Plastic: Main material.  Clear Plastic Window: N/A.

Stability: [A] - With no ankle or feet articulation, Supergirl is pretty stable.

Fun Toy: [+C] - Above average...there isn't much you can do with an action figure that doesn't come with any accessory.

Negative Drawback - Other than the minor paint application control issue, Supergirl really has no major negative drawback.

Articulations:  Head: Can be rotated at a 10 degree sideway and a slight 3 degree tilted up or down. Shoulder: Can be swung at a 360 degree forward or backward and a 90 degree arm spread out. Arm/ Elbow: Can be bent at a 90 degree angle. Wrist/ Hand: Can only be rotated 360 degree sideway. Hip/ Waist:  Cannot be bent.  Leg:  Leg can be swung 75 degree forward and 90 degree backward. Knee:  Can be bent at 90 degree.  Ankle/ Feet:  Cannot be bent and no sideway movement.

Action Figure Comic looks alike: [+A] - Definitely look like the cartoon.

Special Notes: Here's "1" Special Notes that I think you should know:

1 - Supergirl cape and skirt are actually made of a soft flexible plastic, so keep those scissor and sharp object away from the cape.

Overall Grade: [-A] - I'm not too aware of any previous Supergirl action before, but if there's one, the current Supergirl action is definitely one of the best Supergirl out there.  The material, sculpture, and the articulation are definitely one of the best thing that this figure has to offer.
